In the Fall of 2016, a generic post in a public Facebook group in the Pacific Northwest brought together a group of hopeful filmmakers. Over a bag of chips and store brand root beer, the name Crescent Skull Cinema was born. For two and a half years, the tenacious group met on a weekly basis and shot micro-budget films. April of 2018 began a year-long hiatus as familial obligations and employment opportunities resulted Crescent Skull Cinema coming to a close...until August 2019. With permission to move forward with the brand, John Reddy is pleased to keep horror a staple in the indie film scene in the PNW.
